Bridal Shows
Bridal shows give you the opportunity to meet many vendors in a single afternoon. The really good shows will have free gifts and opportunities to win goods or services. The best part of the show, sampling at the caterer's or baker's booths.
Usually late winter or early fall you'll see the notices. Bridal faires, shows, or other names. Here's your chance to save some time and meet many vendors in single afternoon. So grab your mother, a sister, or a few friends and head out.
Not all wedding vendors will go to the show, in fact the better vendors may not need the extra business and not go to the trouble. But you'll see a good cross section and at a minimum be able to cross a few people off your list.
Shows are usually paid for by the vendors and a free to brides, though you may end up on a mailing list. Ask about privacy policies if this worries you.
The most popular booths are those that have free food, so if that's important to you go there first.
This is also a great chance to find out about wedding vendors that offer services that you're not familiar with. You never know who you'll find around the next corner.
